Here at SmallRockets we take security very seriously. We use the industry standard security mechanism of the "Secure Sockets Layer" (SSL). This technology ensures any transaction between your machine and our server is secure and private and therefore your credit card and personal details cannot be accessed by a third party.

SSL works by using encryption. This technique scrambles the data such that it is unreadable by anyone except the intended recipient, in this case SmallRockets.

Whenever you are accessing a page via SSL, your browser will indicate that a secure connection is in place. On Netscape Navigator browsers, the key icon () in the lower left corner of the browser will change to form a complete key (), while on Netscape Communicator and Microsoft Internet Explorer, a padlock icon () will appear in the lower right corner of the browser.
