Don't concentrate on research at the expense of defensive weaponry, as your enemy will soon overwhelm you!

Launching nuclear attacks from multiple sites will maximize your chances of evading the enemy defenses and hitting the target.

Basic defensive units such as the Wolfbite missile will have little effect on the more powerful nukes, so you'll need to research more advanced weapons to avoid being left behind in the arms race.

Some territories such as Australia and Antarctica are very isolated, and make good strategic outposts if you have the opportunity to choose them in the 'Select Territories' game, as only the longest range nukes can reach them.
