Hints and Tips for Tower

• Try to set up knock-on lineups. Lines which are formed as the result of another line being removed score extra points.
• Try to form overlapping lines of blocks. If you drop a piece which simultaneously completes a horizontal and a diagonal&co; that piece will score double.
• Form lines longer than 3 blocks by leaving the middle block until last.

This is best illustrated with an example:

Dropping a star block in the blank position will complete a horizontal, a vertical and a diagonal at the same time.

Dropping a star block in the blank position will make a line of 5, which scores as much as 3 lines of 3.

Dropping a fish block in the blank position will complete a line of 3, but have the knock-on effect of lining up 4 stars, which will score both an extended line bonus and a knock-on bonus. (Knock-ons can be chained... each subsequent knock-on has an increased multiplier).
